Black Valley Farm is dedicating itself to the conservation of diversity in livestock as well as horticulture.  Each step taken toward future goals will incorporate choices that allow us to diversify, self-sustain, and responsibly utilize the natural resources available to us on our land.  Composting, pasture and crop rotation, small manageable herds, minimal disturbance of long standing timber, respect of native streams...all the practices developed by more resourceful generations will come in to play here at Black Valley.
